About CET

Facility

The Santa Maria branch of CET center currently occupies approximately 20,000 square feet. The facility accommodates several skill programs. The Building Maintenance program has a workshop area, a separate classroom, and the capacity to use outdoor areas adjacent to the building. The Business Office Technology program occupies two classrooms, which are set up for data entry and computer skills training. The Medical Assistant program occupies three spaces, one simulating a medical or dental front office, another simulating the back portion of a medical or dental office (the exam room), and finally, the classroom.

One classroom is devoted to the English as a Second Language program. Office space is provided for the administrative personnel, and the offices of the Admissions Advisor and Financial Aid Officer are located at this center as well.

The off-street parking lot will accommodate approximately 95 cars, and the public bus line, Santa Maria Area Transit, stops near Santa Maria CET. All areas of CET are accessible to the mobility-impaired, including the parking area.
