Success Stories

My name is Anabel Zamora and I come from two field-working parents. As son as, I graduated from Santa Maria High School I started worked at a fast-food restaurant. Once I married and had my son I decided to change my life but more for my son. I definitely knew I did not want to work in a minimum wage job anymore, so I enrolled in Center For Employment Training in the Business Office Technology course in August of 2005 to develop more computer and business skills. I personally enjoyed every moment of the learning experiences and knew that I could develop more than I was taught and more than I could ever think of. On February of 2006, I completed my course with a certificate. I am currently working at Good Samaritan Services, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant and soon I will be promoted to a higher position. I enjoy what I am doing but that does not stop me from continuing my education and achieving more of my goals for my family and for the community. Deep down inside of me I am very thankful to the B.O.T. instructors and to all the classmates who believed in me and trusted me for help.
